This conference will explore vibrant and faithful worship that is informed by but not limited to the Reformed tradition, paying attention to how worship embodies and shapes us for justice.
Charisse M. Williams guides participants through the poses, while Okorie Johnson, creator of the Epi.phony solo cello series, weaves a real-time, improvised, soulful score with the poses. Together they deliver the participants to a long deep savasana (corpse pose) at the end of class.
Katie will share about the project, hold a Q&A session, and give updates on life on the ground, having just returned from the region in mid March. Come learn more about our Palestinian, Jewish Israeli and Bedouin neighbors living in Palestine/Israel through their visual and voiced stories featured in Katie Archibald-Woodward's multimedia project "Through The Checkpoint," created in partnership with the nonprofit Creative Visions.
